Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is celebrating the grand opening of its newly expanded Ticketing Corridor.
Sadly, the brand new ticketing corridor doesn’t carry us the pneumatic “Journey Tubes” teased on April 1 that may permit passengers to go whiz straight from the airport foyer to the gate.
However vacationers will profit from 10,000 sq. toes of latest ticketing foyer house and the airport’s first, site-specific public artwork fee.
The Ticketing Corridor enlargement is a part of RNO’s “MoreRNO” infrastructure program, which guarantees a ‘new period’ for the airport and greater than $1 billion in focused enhancements.
RNO’s new public artwork is a 450-foot-long piece by Dixie Buddy Homosexual titled “Repeated Refrains.”
Will probably be exhausting to overlook there on the wall behind the airline ticket counters.
The work references northern Nevada’s various atmosphere, which incorporates forested mountains, vegetation-covered hillsides and desert valleys. It’s divided into 4 sections, every devoted to a unique season and portraying the colours and various ecosystems that may be discovered inside a 100-mile radius of Reno.
