Magnitude 5.4 earthquake shakes Tokyo and surrounds

An earthquake has shaken Japan’s capital Tokyo and surrounding areas, injuring a number of individuals and inflicting minor harm.
The quake on Thursday had a 5.4 magnitude and its epicentre was in Chiba prefecture, southeast of Tokyo, in line with the Japan Meteorological Company.
No tsunami warning was issued.
